Nom Wah Tea Parlor

Nom Wah Tea Parlor is downtown on Doyers Street, but don't let the sign fool you, it's really a dim sum den. Great signage, typography, and use of the word "parlor."

Doyers Street! What a great street. I would love to eat on that street. Imagine when all of New York City was like that block (sans chinese).

Doyers Street is great! It's one of my three favorite streets in Manhattan. Supposedly this is the oldest Dim Sum place in NY, but it's pretty creepy to eat there, all told. Maybe "old" and "Dim Sum" don't belong in the same sentence.
